Maleocity Magazine is a print and web publication for men of color. This magazine was founded by Mr. Lynn Bailey, a 35-year-old black man with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Indiana University Southeast. Learning Photoshop, photography skills, InDesign, and graphic design gave him the essential tools to create his own publication. Growing up, he always envisioned owning a men's magazine; he wanted a space where men of color could be celebrated and honored for their accomplishments. Aside from his men's magazine, Lynn has been a professional photographer for 13 years, and he’s had a men's fashion editorial published in Picton Men’s Magazine in 2019, City Slicker Editorial with Model Justin Samson. Being published in a men's magazine inspired Lynn to create his own magazine celebrating men of color, providing them with a safe, positive platform. We accept web submissions and print submissions, and the print magazine is printed quarterly. We feature web features every month. Print Magazines are sold exclusively via HP Mag Cloud. Our magazine, Maleocity, was inspired by the Centric male model show, Model City, which sparked my idea to create a men’s magazine in high school.
